  • Free to start Kirby game, Super Kirby Clash, is coming to Nintendo Switch. Pick jobs and team up with friends to take on over 100 quests. This looks really cool and will be something I check out. This is coming later today.
  • Trials of Mana trailer is shown and the game looks great. I think I'd prefer the retro version over the remake, but I would have to play both to know for sure. Coming April 24, 2020.
  • Return of the Obra Dinn trailer shown. Game has really cool visuals and an interesting gameplay mechanic where you can look back in time. It's like a first-person mystery game. Coming Fall 2019.

September 3, 2019 - Announcement
Nintendo is bringing yet another Nintendo Direct to the masses. This time, the Nintendo Direct is scheduled to air tomorrow, September 4th, at 3 p.m PT/6 p.m. ET. The direct will be roughly 40 minutes long and focus on upcoming Nintendo Switch games including Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, as well as Luigi's Mansion 3.

With a 40 minute presentation, there is bound to be more announced and discussed. I think it's time we get more retro console apps for Nintendo Switch Online members. Since we're closing in on the 1 year anniversary of the service, giving fans additional value with Super Nintendo games seems like the smart move. I wouldn't hate if we get Nintendo 64 games, as well, but that doesn't seem likely. Regardless of what's announced, check back here tomorrow evening for my recap and impressions.
